As you can see we have given the MATCEI webpage a much needed facelift, and added new and important information for our visitors and members! We hope you will access the site frequently as new information becomes available. We are very excited to offer the Discussion Forums (General, Members, and Board). If there is a topic you'd like to discuss regarding questions or concerns about working with students with behavioral challenges this is the place to do it!
Let me urge each one of you to visit our Spring Conference and Newsletter Sections for the most up to date information about our upcoming Spring Conference in Mt. Pleasant. We are thrilled to have Sharon LaPointe providing our keynote address Wednesday evening on the ever changing Special Education laws and rulings affecting the students and programs we serve . In addition, we will be offering 17 fantastic workshops to meet the diverse learning needs of our members. As always, we are applying for State Board CEUs and School Social Work CEs to make sure you are able to remain current with your continuing education credits. The cost of the conference is very reasonable (including several meals), the hotel location is convenient, and room costs are low! Register before April 1, 2012 in order to get the Early Bird rate!
