The Philanthropy Committee has two primary activities that it oversees for MATCEI -- the provision of Philanthropic Grants to professional members of the organization and College Scholarships for university student members of the organization.

Professional members may apply for Philanthropic Grants for amounts up to $500 for activities that directly involve students with emotional impairments. The Association's goal is to award up to twenty (20) of these grants each year.

University Student members may apply for college scholarships in the amount of $500 to assist them as they work toward degrees in the field.
